Archaeological Tour in the Sacred Valley
This tour will allow guests to view some of the most famous sites the Incas masterfully created so many years ago, with an experienced, bilingual guide to explain all the intriguing details. The trip will begin with the observation of the intricate terracing and stonework of Pisac's Inca citadel, which certainly rivals the masonry work completed at Machu Picchu.
From here, the tour will head to the Pisac Market, where Peruvians sell their unique wares and guests will have the opportunity to browse. This is the perfect place to pick up some last minute souvenirs for the family back home!
Lunch will be served buffet-style in the beautiful Urubamba Valley and give guests a chance to relax in the awe-inspiring Sacred Valley. This trip would not be complete without witnessing the impressive Ollantaytambo ruins, which were built to protect the Incas from outsiders entering from the valley.
This will conclude the day tour and the group will return to Cusco.
