Caminar hacia el centro de la ciudad es bastante duro por las cuestas y siempre puede haber una oportunidad de ser asaltado cuando camina por las calles con su equipaje.

A taxi from the bus station will cost you about 5 Soles and one from the airport about 10 Soles.   

We can also arrange private transport to your hotel. From the airport it will take about 15 minutes and from the bus station just 10 minutes.

Because the transportation is relatively cheap and both the airport and the bus station are located away from the centre we strongly advise you to take a taxi instead of walking. Walking to the centre is quite a tough uphill walk and can be dangerous when travelling with excess luggage.
