Three blocks up from Main Plaza in Cusco's downtown is the Don Bosco Hotel, in a peaceful and quiet area. This is an ideal location to begin sightseeing tours and is found on the property of the Salesiano congregation though now managed by the Allende Family.
The decoration all over the hotel has a touch of Andean culture, especially from Ayacucho where Allende family comes from. Bright colours contrast with its beautiful floors of Oregon wood from Europe that is from the 18th century.
The rooms and corridors are comfortable, spacious, and well illuminated by daylight. Guests can also enjoy fresh air on the terraces and the view to the main plaza of Cusco from the rooms.
