Hostal Marani

Located in a small narrow street, there is almost no traffic, which makes it to a quiet spot. The owner, Tineke from Holland, already lived many years in Cusco and little by little constructed this hostel until she reached the number of 24 rooms. All located around two inside patio's, the rooms are clean, spacious and beautifully decorated with local textiles, photos made in nearby communities and certificates from the foundation HoPe on the light colored walls.

All rooms have hot water 24 hours a day, a wardrobe and a private bathroom with shower.

The hostel has a small bar and a common room with a great number of magazines and (guide) books where you could easily spend an entire afternoon reading.

All staff members used to be poor people and some of them even lived on the street. Tineke gave them an opportunity, trained them well and they have already worked many years in the hostel.
