Porque el transporte es relativamente económico y tanto el aeropuerto como la estación de bus están ubicados fuera del Centro Histórico, le recomendamos tomar un taxi y no caminar fuera de estos establecimientos. Caminar hacia el sur de la ciudad es bastante duro y no comun y siempre puede haber una oportunidad de ser asaltado cuando camina por las calles con su equipaje.

From the airport, it will take about 10 minutes and 15 minutes from the bus station. A taxi from the bus station will cost you about 15 Soles and about 10 to 15 Soles from the airport.

Because the transportation is relatively cheap and both the airport and the bus station are located a fair distance away from the centre, we strongly advise you to take a taxi and do not walk. Walking to the suburbs is quite uncommon and might not be the safest option when travelling with luggage.
