This adventure through the Sacred Valley of Peru begins with a visit to the Awana Cancha Weaving Centre. The work of over twelve Andean communities is brought here for exhibition, and the craftsmanship is remarkable. Tourists will have the opportunity to view the traditional weavers in action and observe the complete process from spinning and dying to the splendid end product. Guests will also have the chance to pet the different cameloids like llamas, alpacas, vicunas, and guanacos that graze nearby.
The tour will then continue to the tourist market of Pisac, which is famous for its diverse selection of high quality products. This is the perfect place to pick up some much needed souvenirs for the family at home!
Lunch will be served in a gorgeous restaurant in the Urubamba open air.
Next, the caravan will continue further into the valley to gawk at the awe-inspiring Inca ruins of Ollantaytambo that were built to protect the Incas from outsider entrance by the Urubamba Valley.
This will conclude our full day and the tour will return back to Cusco.
