The Tayikala Hotel is one of the largest family-run hotel chains in southern Peru. There are two boutique hotels in Puno, one new boutique hotel in Machupicchu town and one in downtown Cusco. The accommodation is a boutique hotel with 3-stars. 39 of its 51 rooms are standard and the other 12 have Jacuzzis and there for are called superior rooms. They offer the best comfort in this hotel during your stay in Cusco.
The Taypikala Hotel Cusco is located one block from the Koricancha (the Temple of the Sun) and three blocks away from Cusco's Main Plaza, in a convenient, quiet street.
The owner provides spacious areas decorated with samples of Cusco's most famous ceramic potter; his work can be appreciated all over the hotel from the mirror borders to the restaurant roof.
"El Tambo" Restaurant, in front of the patio, will serve you a breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner from 5:00 am until 10:00 pm, also room service is available without extra charge.
Besides all these the hotel also has a lounge and meditation area.

Since the hotel was built over Inca foundations, the hotel offers you a meditation area. There are San Pedro plants and candles surrounding it, a patio with seats and a lounge area are close to this temple for reading or resting and enjoying a coca tea.
Storage room is also available (no charge) if you need to store some luggage before leaving or trekking out of Cusco.
